I learnt to crochet bears.

I sought something simple, a meditative art, though it took a while to get it right. I've kept with the same basic pattern, with tweeks here and there. I love how they develop there own character as they're made. I keep making them and, though I'm reluctant to let them go, I get pleasure in seeing them go to their new homes.

Began my determination to crochet small bears. Online, I learnt how to. I altered the original pattern , but since then not much has changed.

From that basic pattern different characters develop as they're made. I play around with size, beards, and so on. I love that they're slightly flawed, and all different.
